Visit at GHH Fahrzeuge Print

pm080902_ob-besuch-07.jpgIt was a prestigious day for GHH Fahrzeuge. For the second time after the company transferred its headquarter and production facilities to Gelsenkirchen they were visited by the head of the municipality of Gelsenkirchen, Lord Major Baranowski and Mr. Hampe, responsible for promotion of local trade and industry.

Beginning of 2007 the company transferred its head office from the origin location in Oberhausen to Gelsenkirchen, Emscherstr. 53. There an adequate property was found after an extensive search, which was offering a suitable prospect for the development of the company as well as meeting the specific requirements of manufacturer of special vehicles for mining, tunnelling and aircraft handling.

Proudly Mr. Günther Saelhoff, managing director of GHH Fahrzeuge GmbH, pointed out to the visitors the very positive economical progress during his company presentation and the following tour around the area, where he showed the latest achievements too. Likewise he provided a forecast for future plans of the company.

pm080902_ob-besuch-22.jpg Thanks to the municipal assistance and other administrative authorities in charge, which supported a long term rental agreement for a testing area close to the company, where commissioning and testing of the vehicles can be performed. Based on the continuously rise of vehicle production, GHH Fahrzeuge is planning to buy a neighbouring manufacturing facility to increase their production capabilities and hav-ing reserve for future growth. Upon request of the visitants he pointed out too, that there is a very positive acceptance of the new location by all employees.

At the end of the meeting it was noted very positively that within this short period of time at Gelsenkirchen, the number of personnel raised up for approx. 10% to 130 employees. This is mostly influenced by the continuous growing demand for transport capabilities in international mining and on airports.
