Proven under the extreme conditions of South African platinum and chrome mines, the SLP-5 is a LHD with a capacity of 5 tons and is designed especially for super low profile reef mining of up to 1.7 m. The SLP-5 is characterized by a robust and simple design with a very high performance. Even under toughest working conditions this machine has proven lowest cost per ton. With its high tractive effort and its excellent traction a quick loading is guaranteed, even when loading up dip at high gradients. The operator’s cab is arranged on the load frame and thus allows for a clear view on the bucket for efficient loading, even under difficult ambient conditions.
